Its fragrance is pleasant.
Its appearance is pure and peaceful.
Yet, its roots are deeply connected to muddy, foul-smelling water.
Still, the lotus never carries the smell of the mud.
It rises above it.
It blooms clean, untouched, and beautiful.
Life Teaches Us Through the Lotus
Our life is very similar.
We may be surrounded by:

Negative people

Painful situations

Failures and discouragement

A bad atmosphere at home, work, or society
But our surroundings do not define our destiny.
With the blessings of Jesus Christ, we can grow beyond every negative situation—just like the lotus.
Rooted in Mud, Growing in Faith
The lotus does not spread inside the mud.
It grows upward toward the light.

Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, Almighty God,
Thank You for teaching us today through the lotus.
Lord Jesus,
when life places us in negative or painful situations,
help us not to absorb the darkness around us.
Keep our hearts pure,
our thoughts holy,
and our lives filled with Your fragrance.
Let us rise above every challenge
and bloom with Your love and grace.
