Every believer faces moments when life seems blocked. Doors close, opportunities disappear, and prayers appear unanswered. In those seasons, it is easy to wonder whether God is still working. Yet throughout the Bible, we see a God who specializes in making a way where no way exists.
One powerful example is found in the story of the Israelites at the Red Sea. After being delivered from slavery in Egypt, they suddenly found themselves trapped. The sea stood before them, and Pharaoh’s army was rapidly approaching from behind. Humanly speaking, there was no escape.
Fear spread among the people. They questioned Moses and doubted God’s plan. But God had not brought them that far to abandon them. Through Moses, He gave a simple command: “Move forward.”
As Moses stretched out his staff over the sea, God performed a miracle. The waters parted, creating a dry path through the middle of the sea. The Israelites walked safely across, while the army pursuing them was stopped by the very waters God had divided.
This story reminds us that God’s solutions often appear at the very moment when our strength ends. He sees possibilities where we see obstacles. What seems impossible to us is never impossible for Him.
Perhaps today you are facing a financial burden, a family struggle, a health concern, or uncertainty about the future. You may feel as though you are standing before your own Red Sea. Take heart. The same God who made a path through the waters is still at work today.
God may not always act in the way we expect, but He is always faithful. His timing is perfect, and His power is unlimited. When fear whispers that there is no way forward, faith reminds us that God is already preparing the path.
This morning, choose to trust Him. Instead of focusing on the size of the obstacle, focus on the greatness of the One who stands with you. The God who opened the sea can open doors, create opportunities, heal wounds, and lead you into a future filled with hope.
Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way. When I face challenges and uncertainties, help me to trust Your wisdom and timing. Strengthen my faith when fear tries to take control. Remind me that You are always working behind the scenes for my good.
Today, guide my steps, open the right doors, and give me peace in every situation. Help me walk forward with confidence, knowing that You are leading me. May my heart remain fixed on Your promises and filled with gratitude for Your unfailing love.
